Synchronised Sigh

Those silent gazes that you render, takes everything off me

And my heart skips a beat, unsure if its origin be of joy or dismay.

Magnificence I behold, like a fading sunset,

Holds even greater beauty in its momentary.

You sit beside; I hold your hand;

Yet, I’m still missing you.

Harvesting caresses for a future date

For a time when I’d be longing for you.

Gazing at the bathroom mirror with your arms wrapped around me,

And, an unexpected synchronised sigh.

Thousand words remain unspoken between you and I,

But the heart silently understood.

    Can I just say how glad I am to see that you’ve finally updated. Ending was pretty epic. Also, I see you’re writing about your mystery girl again.

  2. This captured the feeling of somebody in love,even though their partner is with them they still cant get enough.

    Captured feelings I have for my son, sometimes I look at him and sigh, feeling that I can’t possibly show him how much I love him.

    Brilliant piece

    I like the air of mystery here – which I imagine miffalicious is referring to. I found it an enjoyable read.
