A Crowd of Three

How do I say it… through words that do not show or actions that does not glow?

I’ve pushed too hard, those feelings, just would not grow, or on its course will not flow.

Crippling prey of conformity, with seldom ease of diversion

Reindeers all the dreams that I once strived for, into mere illusions.

In absence of your company, I see a vision of perfect harmony.

Then… they shatter, how brittle; even in a crowd of three.

Rendered ignorant as to which earthly logic might work

Mathematical, philosophical or even the simplest quirk

To find concrete pieces to bridge the unfriendly gap

But there are none to be found in these theses perhaps

I see the smoke in the air, but where is the fire burning,

And from everything around us, nothings quite intriguing,

To validate this point and match them to theories that has long been coined.

Perhaps these thoughts will hold some cheer, the day it turns to memories, mere

Or surround us with jilt of laughter when discovered its smooth and clear

Guess we’ll see a new glitter in the skies, if we look from different eyes.
