Solitary Grief

These tears won’t say you ‘Good Bye’

Nor bring you back to life.

I’ve taught every soul not to cry

Now tears are in my very eyes.

I know it’s wasteful to shed an eye

With natures law we are to abide.

I still solemnly wish you ‘Good Bye’

Hope somehow, someday, it’ll still pass you by…
